Holiday Meats
Kim and Rich love to celebrate the holidays with their friends and family. Nothing makes a special meal even more memorable than a fresh turkey, smoked ham or leg of lamb that has enjoyed a wonderful quality of life and was humanely harvested. However, we are a family farm and each animal is lovingly raised and nurtured from birth to plate. Hence the availability of our cuts is somewhat limited, so we are thrilled to be able to offer fabulous holiday meats to CSA SHAREHOLDERS ONLY.
Check the Shareholder Tab on our website for holiday meat order forms. We do raise pastured white breasted and Naragansett Bronze Turkeys for Thanksgiving. At Christmas we offer a holiday ham or leg of lamb (we are hoping to expand our cattle herd enough to offer Rib Roasts). And for Easter we also offer ham. Unfortunately our lambs are being born each spring and the natural cycle of New England Sheep has the ewes going into cycle in the fall, gestating over the winter and lambing in the spring.
